Dockery Farms

Established in 1865 by William Alfred Dockery.  Will Dockery connected the Plantation
to the Mississippi Valley(The Yellow Dog) railroad in Boyle, MS via the "Pea Vine".
The Yellow Dog branch helped to develop the area. Charley Patton lived here from
1891 to 1934 and many of the early Bluesmen came here to play.

In 2006 named to the National Register of Historic Places.
On April 19, 2008 named a Mississippi Blues Trail Site.
In 2017 named a Mississippi Landmark Site.

Watch for big name acts playing here.  Trucks Tedeschi were here April 24, 2016.
Rosanne Cash played here June 6, 2016.
